This question may seem trivial but how long is it safe to keep car on launch control before launching? I couldn't find any info on this topic. Lately I was spoking to guy owning RS3 and he told me that he can keep car on launch mode 'forever'. I don't think it is good for engine, maybe he have some high tech stuff but in my case I'm not sure.

 

I would say depends on how it is set up. Is it set up ignition cut, or is it fuel and ignition cut etc?

 

I'm not sure to be honest.. When I put 1st gear + clutch and go full throttle it limits my RPM some around 5000
