Research sugguests this is because the EGR solenoid, the problem is that the part# MR561071 I can't get it anywhere not even the dealer. So I wonder if these for Eclipse will also work on the Evo. And if anyone knows other causes that will trigger this problem please let me know appreciate it.

Check your cam timing and belt tension. Lope is usually caused by the timing overlap of large cams, when inlet and exhaust valves open at the same time, resulting in incomplete combustion.
If you are still on the stock cams then one may have skipped timing by a tooth or two, creating more overlap and a lumpy idle.

Do you have to pass emissions testing? Remove the EGR if not. Lean idle caused by a faulty egr being open at idle causes lope. You should have a wideband imo anyway and that would help see if its idling lean.

Well I didn't know EGR delete was so easy so I didn't do it, now I'll just do it when my block plate is here, thanks!
By the way, you can just cut out a piece of an aluminum can to make a gasket without a through hole for the exhaust gasses and use the faulty EGR to sandwich it on with RTV.

It's fine just 30$. But after the delete it's still doing the same thing, do I need to get a tune or maybe my problem is actually not related to EGR?
