Evo Sounds Like A Subaru

I tested this car as much as possible

Compression test 180 across the board
new spark plugs
swapped to a new cop system
injectors got cleaned and came out good

Car sounds horrible and felt on the manifold to see which cylinder is not firing
cylinders 2-4 were hot, cylinder 1 was cold on the manifold

cylinder 1 is not firing and not sure if its the pistons rings or a bent valve, but I assume a bent valve should not hold pressure right or can it but not allow the cylinder to fire properly

However cylinder 1 is too the touch on the exhaust manifold

Not following your notes here. Am i reading this correctly?

Wouldnt a leak down test be the next step? The compression value of 180 is certainly way over the max allowable at 145 unless this motor is not built to stock specs?

If the compression is good across all cylinders, it would suggest your valves and rings are doing their job. Do you have plug and play adapters for your injectors? Give the wires a pull on the adapters on cylinder 1 to see if any of the pins have unseated themselves.

that’s what I thought but I verified that each cylinder is making that amount of pressure

I thought I had posted this morning, but guess it didn't go through when I hit reply.

If you haven't already, be sure to check the Injector Resistor Box. I had the same exact symptoms you had and the root cause was exactly that. Resistor Box was faulty.

Also check your MAF if you have one to ensure there are not fault codes associated with it.
After disconnecting mine and reconnecting it, my car sounded like it was a subaru.
After checking everything over, I checked if there any DTC's on EvoScan and sure enough there was one which came up
to do with the MAF. I promptly cleared it and the car was back to normal.

I just got a code for the 1st time, about "o2 sensor stuck lean". I'll try to replace it and let you know
