Changing Oil and Front Jacking Point

I have a 2006 MR Evo and I just tried doing my first oil change today and got a little stump. I bought a low profile ramps then I tried removing the plastic under tray (Zero Lift Kit?) and had difficulty removing it. Most of the plastic tabs has deteriorated so much unscrewing it would mold the + into a hole rendering it impossible to remove. I have given up removing it and tried salvaging it by putting a few of the working tabs back so the plastic tray won't be dangling. Also, I could not find the front jacking point at all. The Diagram states that its in the most front of the car so that is the reason I attempted to even remove the plastic tray. I will give it a try again tomorrow and see if I can remove it again because it took too much of my time removing that plastic tray. I will try to jack the car on the side tomorrow and see if it is any easier.

Is it possible to do the oil change without removing the plastic tray? Would it be best to just completely remove the plastic tray for an easier DIY? Or put the plastic tray (Zero lift) back for performance gains. It would be really helpful if I can see a real picture of the front jack point. The old post pictures are either deleted or wasn't helpful to me at all.

There's an access panel for getting to the jack point without removing the entire undertray (PN 66022L). I'm pretty confident you can access the oil drain plug and filter without removing the undertray as well.

I just removed all those rivets and replace them with nylon license plate screw inserts and 'splash shield' screws

Yeah I was planning to just order some screws from Amazon and just use those to replace it. Whoever invented those plastic phillips screw tabs can rot in hell.

I'm not sure but i think the original ones are not screwed, but 'push' rivets. i have 100 of those but I dont use them under the engine bay... I dont want my cover falling off if a cone goes under my car

Nice, I'll order that right away. Hopefully I don't destroy my plastic under tray taking out the rivets that are stuck. I would like to try keep it in one piece.

if you have the right tool & right size rivets you wont lose patience with them. I like metal screws better
and yeah you dont need to remove the bottom cover to change oil(s) or check for leaks.

Is this the rear pinch weld or did I just messed up? I think I should've have bought one of those rubber puck for the jack before doing my oil change. I did put a microfiber towel on it before lifting it.

I managed to change my oil without taking out the plastic under tray however, I think doing a coolant flush would be more difficult if the tray is underneath it.

personally i just remove the cover and disconnect my lower radiator hose
