Brake lights won’t work correctly when car is running and I have lights on!

So I recently changed the battery for my car. So tonight on my drive home while parking my car I noticed 2 of my three brake lights didn’t turn on when I pressed on the brakes. I have checked the bulbs and fuses. Could it be the brake pedal switch or cause the alternator was running over time and the car needs to be told the battery has been replaced like some euro cars? Sorry if I don’t make sense but happy to answer all questions till it’s fixed and will reply with what worked for me

You said that you checked the bulbs but did you verify there isn't power at the bulb socket? I have seen some bulbs that look good and simply don't work.

Also, what ones aren't working and which one is?

so the bulb works correctly when the car is off (actually is an LED that I have been using for awhile). The dual filament work fine, running lamps and brake lamps only both constantly light up when the car is running with the lights turned on. I’ll try and upload some pics or a video soon

FIXED!
Just an update. I figured cause the current draw on the led bulbs is less and the normal bulbs draw more electricity. I went back to standard globes and that fixed my noob problem. Just cause my led worked before with out a resistors in place I thought they would still work. But learnt my lesson and when changing to leds will always remember to put in a resistor.
will up date again if this messes up in future
