breake lights out

My brakes lights are out. We checked fuses and bulbs and everything is good. What would be the next thing to check?

check to see if the brakes are pushing on the switch that turns on the brake lights. When the brake pedal is pushed there is a rubber rod that pushes on the switch. I haven't confirmed if this is the way Evos turn on their brake lights but i've seen it on all toyota's i've worked on.

If you have a volt meter have some one sit in the car and hit the brakes then use the meter on the brake light bulb connectors. If there is voltage then you know everything else is working, if not just go along with post above. Good Luck
