Evo 8 breaking up in boost!
Hello all, I have a 2005 evo 8 that is breaking up as soon as I try to hit boost.
I just car the car tuned and AFRS are great, it actually started breaking up halfway throug the tuning sessions around every other run. Now a few weeks later it breaks up much more often.
Fairly simple e85 setup, id1050x, aem 340 pump, evo 8.5 turbo, 272 cams, intake, exhaust.
I have boost leak tested it at 30psi and fixed all leaks, no more boost leaks. Plugs are new and gapped at .20, new Omni map sensor and all 4 denso coilpacks.
Any thoughts on what it could be? TIA

Plug gap might need to be .24.. mine are .18 but I'm running more than you, check you're not losing fuel pressure when hitting boost. Tuner should have caught that you're going lean and assisted in finding the problem. Like someone else said, Denso coils, they're not highly liked for evos from what I've read.
