Evo compression test question

I got some conflicting info and removed the cam position sensors to do the compression test on my evo 9 (I now see everyone says you’re supposed to do the crank position sensor?)

My question is did removing them and then trying to crank over the car necessitate a relearn or anything or is it just clear some codes after reconnecting?

you mean * disconnect * crank position sensor. no relearn needed BUT its too easy for me to clear codes and disconnect the batt so I would do that
