Haven't been able to find consistent information on what gear oil/transmission fluid I should be using in an evo 1 GSR. If it helps, it has a w5m33 WQWE, the one with the viscous limited slip front diff.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the Evo 1 have the same transmission as the 1G DSM? If that's the case, STM has a list of recommended fluids for the 1G DSM drivetrain that should work for you:

You may want to verify this on a DSM forum, those guys could probably help you out better than anyone here can.

 

Or try Mitsubishi Lancer Register(MLR) the British-ish/early Evo forum. They got what you need. Probably.
