Hello all. I replaced the driver side actuator motor inside my Evo 8 but after reconstructing the door and all the hooks, the drivers side door won’t unlock from the inside but it will from the outside. I ensured that all of the hooks are in the right place and the holding clips but once all is screwed in, nothing happens.

i can have the door handle slid in and screwed in but once I pull the lever, it does not unlock but then becomes stuck in the halfway spot. Once I push the handle to its resting position, I hear a click from the actuator. I believe the handle isn’t getting the top “rod” to expend its hook and unlock the door. Not sure

any help would be greatly appreciated.
