WORKS "customer service"

Would just like to put the word out there that my experience with the WORKS staff, in terms of customer service, was the best so far.
Basically, I had installed a "mod" on my car which resulted in an EVO that ran like crap. Since the original tuner of my car was not available, I sought another tuner's opinion.
What i got was an honest feedback on the pros and cons of different tuning methods (flash vs. piggy-back, for ex....or dyno-tuning compared to drive-it-in-the-streets- type of tuning, etc. etc.)
Simple and basic troubleshooting steps were also suggested - for my particular "issue".
Not once did I get a tone of "this is wrong/bad, and this is the right way" kind of talk, which I'm honestly tired of hearing......if you know what i mean.
Confidence in their products, plus respect for other tuners' products was the impression I got after leaving the WORKS shop.
If you have an EVO and live near the Bay Area, go check them out.

i to have a very positive experience from works. every staff member is knowledgeable about their tuning methods. pete, rifkis, gavin, and tyler are a bunch of cool guys. what made me choose works was their great service and their warranty on all of their products. you cant beat that!

That's good to hear. It always amazes me when people think there is one and only one way to do things, and everything else is wrong/crap/etc. Though for some, explanations are cranium overload. They just want to throw money at it and make it !fastah!..

Be careful of those who have more negative things to say about others, than those who have explanations and understanding of how things are done good/bad and otherwise.
