Unhappy My evo could be dying...

I trailored it to my dealership today....and put it back to stock other than turboback and intercooler.......

these are my problems....

blows tons of white/strange smelling smoke out the exhasut at full throttle

tons of oil all over my lower intercooler pipeing and when i took the fiting off that conescted it to the intercooler itself there was a puddle of oil there, and the fiting was ripped.

my last run down the track went from a 12.7 to a 13.5...somethings losing power

i just got my clutch put in and i think either somehting they didnt put toegether right is causing htis or i blem a head gasket....who knows maybe a turbo gasket.....anyone know what these problems might atribute too??? thanks...

Stop posting. (This is your fourth post) You shouldn't have been driving it. Everyone told you to get it checked out by someone who knows what they're doing. So you went ahead and drove it with a blown head gasket. You probably did a lot of damage (you may have been fine had you not driven it after your blew it) and now you may need a new head. This could have been prevented if you had trailored it straight to a shop from E-town. Stop asking on the forums and take it somewhere, and be prepared to open your wallet.

Evo engine forum, dynoflash forum, look around, it's there.

Somehow, I don't feel bad for him. Kind of like the kid that keeps touching the stove and wondering why his hand's burning.

And I honestly hope that you're not trying to pass this off as a warranty claim. You modded the car, this is the price.

Anyone taking bets here? I'm saying the head casting is completely warped and you'll need a new one, at the very minimum, that is if you didn't fry something on the bottom end while you were mad boostin, yo.

Actually from what Ive read from other posters as well as personal experience, you would be suprised what Mit dealers will cover. Ive had everything thats ever happened to me covered, including transfer cases, synchronizer, etc and look at my mods.... Maybe you should do a search under warranty and take a look at th enumerous posts of how easy Mit dealers are with warranties on modded EVO's. I originally thought like you when I bought my car. "oh no, i put a turboback on, what happens if I get into an accident adn something goes thats under warranty, then Ill have to pay for anything that ever happens." Silly me....... Kev your car will be alright, ignore the know-it-alls on this board......wait til something happens to there car and they come looking for help and whine, then we can make fun of them....... See ya this weekend Kev!!!!

You are talking about your issue in at least 3 other threads. Creating another thread, this time in the General forum, isn't going to give you a new miracle answer that the 30 other individuals didn't already suggest to you.
