04 leather seats are pretty nice...

we just got in 2 RS's and 2 Evo's one with the leather seats, it's a lot nicer than I thought it would be, I was ALWAYS thought I would prefer the suede recaro SRD's since the type R came out but the leather version is very nice too, not too slippery, still very bucket like. i just sit in it all day at work haha, and all the upholstery is leather too, like the door inserts and the armrest, and the sun and sound package sounds really nice too with 315 watts also the sunroof still leaves a lot more headroom, more than the 03's if i remember right, so if u autocross a, u can still wear your helmet and still have plenty of head room..we got 2 apex silver evo 8's and 2 RS's...RS's look very nice too without the wing, and the gutted trunk, im just not a fan of the non power doors/locks/mirror/stereo
the leather seats remind me of the rsx type S seats
anyone buy an evo with leather yet??? its a very very nice package, sunroof/infinity sound/leather package $2500 i kinda wanna set myself up on a deal on the leather one

I personally give the 04 leather seats ... They just do not feel like recaros anymore. They do not give that nice hug that makes you feel stuck in the seat. It feels like you could just slide right off the seat autoxing. But on the plus side they did do a nice job on the door panels they look nice.

I thought the leather seats felt pretty snug and comfortable, you need to have some free movement so you don't feel stiff when you get out of the car

Here's your leather link. This is the Euro catalogue, and gives a few nice shots of the leather.

Is the US brochure similar to this, or a bit more simple?

When are the Katskin coming out for the seats?

I'm pondering to just have my seats custom upholstered with Rally Red leather...

and take the back seat out.

I like the leather backseats on the 04 Evo tho... They look more comfortable.

the dealer i work at put custom black w/ silver insert seats into an apex silver evo (front and back bench) looks nice. i have leather in my RSX and i love it. they are recaro's also, and i think the leather holds u pretty well, and gives it a classier look. tho the evo recaro's are sweet as cloth too. but i would prefere leather, even tho i hope to autoX my next car.

Even though people say alot of bad things about leather, and it does have alot of negative qualities I really like these seats too. After seeing them I am seriously considering having mine wrapped in leather or suede. The people my dealership uses will cost about $1000-1200 to do all the seats and doors. I should be finding out a little more info shortly, though I wish I had never seen them. This money was supposed to go to a BR intercooler, which will be put on hold for now.

Is there a way to buy the infinity 315W system and put it into our 03's?
