Help!! Locked Keys in car..

Dammit. I have an alarm but I locked my keys in my car. My extra set is in a storage 300 miles away. Any way of getting under the hood and maybe doing something with the fuses to unlock it?? Thanks

Do you have triple A or options on your insurance for them to pay to have your door opened

I have that Mitsubishi 24 hr a day, but thats within 50 miles of where you bought it. I have since moved 300 miles. I know there is a way to get under the hood using a screwdriver or something and then fidgeting with the fuses. SOmeone showed me before i got my alarm put in.

Hmm, I've never done it that way, but I guess it would work. Essentially, you pop the fuse that controls the door locks and it should open. Is the alarm on now?

No, but it really wouldnt matter, since even if it went off when i opened the door i could shut it off. The real question is how to shimy the hood open. I know there is a way but i dont want to break anything....

I've never done it on my lancer. On my old mustang, the cable snapped. I reached up under the hood with pliers and opened it that way. I don't know if there is that much space to access it on an Evo though.

it would have been cheaper to call a locksmith and easier too.
