hey guys, thought u could help me out wit da rumor i heard, I called a dealership and asked if they would b getting any lancer evolutions, and he says,"Yeah, and they go for 25000 on up." So 2 me the price is very fair sounding and he also tells me that if I think that is 2 much, 2 just wait for the new lancer, He said it would be new and improved making bout 180 2 200 hp, and will go for 15000 as starting price. let me know if this man wants 2 just buy the evo for himself!!! or if he is telling the truth. later

but really why would they offer a version of our car with alot more power for the same and/or less than it is at now. Sorry dude.

The info here is not conclusive, but it does indicate that there will be a performance model slotted below the EVO in the 2004 model line up for the lancer.

I'm told that there is a model below the US EVO VIII that will just be a Lancer with a turbocharger. (ie Cedia turbo)

 

Actually, Shirokuma from Apex Japan has been tellin us for months that there will be a "lesser" Evo or U.S. Cedia Turbo.
I really hope there will be a turbo Lancer, not just a more powerful NA engine. Turbos rule

 

I think the fact that Mitsu had Rob turbo an automatic for them kinda shows that they are seriously considering the turbo credia.
