what's it for? Drag, Roadrace? Different clubs or races reqires different spec on a Cage, I would read their rule book first before deciding on one. I don't think the Cusco one is legal in any club race in US. But if you want to get some bling for the street, that's another story. Its very silly and dangerous to ride with a road cage around you without an helmet though. Or you can get a roll bar if you are only doing autox and open track day, not nessesary though. Check out autopower and kirk.

kevo read my mind! whats the cage for...? if its for show, dont waste your money your better off puting an apc fake cage in their, and when you decied to street race and you wonder why your cage didnt save or prevent you from getting hurt, you can wonder why....

but if its for a legalized events by all means get one custom fitted as per the regulations... because you can always get one fabricated that usually turn out stronger and will actually stiffen up your car, consider spot welding your chasis as well...

good luck with your quest, and btw no this isnt a cheap shot at you, more of a general vocal to those outfitted their cars with so much money and dont know how to drive their cars... i'm sur eyour a sport at the circuits

Cusco cage is designed for RHD and it's Aluminum. Not legal in any kind of SCCA/Drag events.

Cusco cage is designed for RHD OR LHD (makes no difference) and is 40mm diameter chromoly.

Their Safety 21 versions are 40mm steel.

and in stock

Like mentioned above, the Cusco cage may be great for shows, but won't pass tech at any SCCA or NASA event.

Looks like the only option here is to surrender your car to a chassis shop for a full weld in.

Of course it makes a difference. It's triangulated the wrong way.

Exactly.

Not really. The Autopower cage is SCCA-approved.
