call the number on the back of the ticket and give them a ticket #.

I got ticket for 79 in 55 and paid $140 in Dekalb County and pleaded no-low which means I didn't get any points on my driver's license. If you go to court the judge will sometines knock of 10MPH so if you are under 15MPH (75) you can pay for ticket and not get any points. To save time I would go to court to see if judge will reduce the ticket. Fighting it may not be worth the time even if the cop is wrong.

Peace,
Snoop

You mean "no-lo" or Nolo contendere. It means, no contest and has the same effect as a plea of guilty, as far as the criminal sentence is concerned, but may not be considered as an admission of guilt for any other purpose.

Nolo contendere basically means you have no evidence to argue against the evidence already provided. You're still "convicted" of speeding and subject to the fines, but it's not the same as a guilty plea exactly.

Were you speeding?

so is that what you say? Nolo contendere your honor?

I'll call now.

I really need a video camera in my car. And a seperate voice recorder.

I'm tired of being harassed. When I had my Volvo, I would go 100mph right next to the cop and still wont get pulled over.

Now, i'm going 40 in 45 and cops still follow me for hours.

Probably more than the cost of attending a HPDE event and being able to run 130mph..

You only get one nolo every 5 years so use it when you get a bad ticket. 20MPH over can easily get reduced to 10MPH so no-lo may not be needed. It really depends on the judge. Either way you will benifit from going to court.

In know a Police officer in Dorivelle may be he can help. PM me for details.

Obsessed with trying to see Evos used properly and not missused/abused/looked down upon by folks in public or law enforcement. Just trying to help people help themselves..

Don't remember how GA's laws are, since I only lived there two years, but here in FLA you can elect traffic school. You get no points, you pay the ticket, and you take an online or in person driving class for like 4 hours. You can only do it once a year and a max of five times in a lifetime. Maybe you have an option like that in ATL?

Lightbulb Call the Local Procecuting Attorney-Pay extra

Call the Local Procecuting Attorney-Pay extra. I know this sounds crazy but I did this once in missouri. Little town called Licking hung a yellow light so they could tax the people heading up Hwy 63. I don't remeber the exact speeds like 65 in a 35.

I called and asked if there was anyway to get the ticket changed to a non-moving violation. I told them that I had a clean driving record and wanted to keep speeding tickets off of it. They told me that if I paid triple the fine they would change the ticket to a non-moving violation. So instead of $50.00 and pay the insurance company for 5 years, I paid $150.00 up front. I figured that they were only after the money so, I paid the smaller crook. Rather than the big one, insurance.

They plea bargin assaults and murders, so I had no moral problem with a speeding ticket being changed to a parking ticket.

Asking is no crime, not a bride, its a plea bargin.

Good Luck,

PS: I am thinking about getting a Valentine 1, perhaps you should consider one also.

I'm from Al and got a ticket in Union City, Ga. I would admit if i did it but it was total bs and not really gonna go into it here. Well i'll just say he was standing outside of his car (and not radaring) and didn't clock me period. He claims 94 in a 65 and they quoted me $411 as the max fine. But i'm goin to court and use the discovery info and hopefully get out of it.

Cops in CT dont have to be in their cars to radar you. They have those audible tones on their radar equipment that just alerts them when the car in question is speeding. It automatically clocks and locks your speed. And I have never seen them miss-calibrated. So be careful and good luck.
