sadly, it varies with a million different other factors, temperature included.

1) where your sweet spot is depends on how you like to launch. If you like dropping the clutch, your sweet spot will be higher. If you like slipping the clutch, and saving the tranny wear and tear, the sweet spot is anywhere between 4000rpms and 6000rpms as you as you're familiar with the car and can modulate the clutch accordingly.

2) it also depends on what type of clutch you have, and whether you have an SS restrictor removal line thingamajiggy

3) depends on if you slowly revving it up to whatever the desired RPM is (or using launch control), or if you are constantally revving the car, on and off. For whatever reason, you pick up boost a bit quicker, it seems, when you revv on and off, as opposed to easing it to 5800 rpm's Gran Turismo style.

Also, from what i understand, you're never gonna release the clutch right when the turbo kicks in, b/c the turbo doesn't really kick in until you start rolling. Without any load, the best you could get the turbo to is 0psi (i.e. no vacuum)

Have you noticed how closely spelled the words launch and lunch are?
