Then why not just park your car w/ the doors unlocked?

 

If someone wants your car bad enough there is no security system around that can be full proof Its worth it to take simple means to protect against people jackin stuff out of your car and if you want to put the money into a nice security system thats fine. But do realize all that is just a deturant not a solution. The way I look at it is: What can I do that will be the most cost effective and give me decent protection? For me this means just don't leave things laying around in my car to intice people. keep the doors locked and don't park my car in high theft places (when posible) I also keep full coverage on it and insure addons like stereo systems etc. just in case someone does break in or steal it. I used to have an integra I spend over 1000 bucks on security for that car altho it was never stolen it was broken into and busted up and stereo taken out 2 times with the alarms in place and on. So like I said they are only a deturant not a fix.
