Downshifting Noise...

when i downshift or engine break im getting this humming/whistling sound from the front/bottom of the car....is this my clutch going out? i've had zero launches....

just down shift within the gears range of MPH if you now what I mean. Dont try to downshift to 1st gear going over 30 mph. But naturally the drive train makes noices.

Yeah...the Evo drivetrain is noisy as hell...there's little or no sound dampening material...but that's okay...I love the mechanical sounds...if you want quiet, buy a Lexus...

well it only right befor the clutch engages during a downshift...and i am not in high rpms either.....sort of like the sound a ship makes in the movies when it sinks into the water...

This freaked me out the first time I had heard, thought I trashed a bushing or bearring. I hope its like you guys said, its normal.
