Ah ha ha ha! Now that's funny. I tried driving through the canyons with a full glass of water in the cupholder, but then I got thirsty.

hmm.. last time I checked Fd3s was the third gen body for rx7, I guess if you find that amusing then anyone who uses the terms like 4g63 are in the same boat.

ok first off any crowd can be a hostile one especially when you come on their boards and say why buy "this" car...

21 here fulltime job fulltime student driven 4 cars to get to where I am today... and I wouldnt trade my evo for anything right now cept maybe an MR haha... Also I would say your F&F "nitrous makes my car go faster than 140" crowd is availible in any decent race car... however how many mustangs do you see at the drags with superchargers and nitrous??? too many to count for me... come on and all for a few seconds of their 1/4 times...

I will say what some have already said on the actually track you know the one with turns, there is damn near nothing that can touch an evo... Its funny because many evo clubs are forming that run very frequently at the tracks... so that brings then actual number of evo drivers participating up...

one of the great points of the evo that everyone forgets is mountain/snow driving... I drive to the mountains very frequently and the evo is awesome for it, not only for those drives but for all racing types as well.... you name it the evo can do it... drag/road course/mountains/autoX/rally what cant it do???? and all for under 30K

What is the point of this post? To criticize those of us who are fortunate to have good jobs or well-endowed parents? Or to critcize the Evolution becuase it's faster than a Mustang and less comfortable than a Camry? And yes, you can use the car to it's complete potential without breaking the law. It's called a racetrack.

And, yes, I like soup also.

This is a rant. The key word is RANT. He's just saying what's on his mind. There IS a point if you read it carefully without feelin' like he's bashin' you. He isn't...

The reason why I want an EVO is because in MY opinion, it's the best car that I can afford. Before, that was the Integra GSR. I don't buy cars to be the fastest. I buy the ones that I think are great stock and that are easy to modify. It's just fun to do. It's a hobby. Like someone said, you modify to make your car feel new and different. For FUN.

Yea. I dont get this post either. Thats like saying how do you know you will like sex with a female if you hadnt had sex with a male. (Vice versa for homosexuals. ) This post is like a fallacy. If you're upset that younger people own evo's or because you weren't priviledged enough to have a nicer car when you were younger... .... Me personally, im 23 and i bring home 40k. I have no worries about owning the car nor making payments. I saw the car in a jackie chan movie and ever since have been hooked. Its the only car i test drove and its the car i wound up buying. Does that 50k vette handle better or go faster, maybe, but my choice was the Evo.

BTW, the evo was the best thing i could have ever done.

i like chicken btw, too.

haha are you kidding me? Rx7's 1st gen, 2nd gen, 3rd gen... 60,000 for a vr4? didnt they sell for 45 back in 1990s? no way in hell vr4's are worth 60k now...makes no sense....

27 is a pretty established age. Enough to buy many things.
