That's one downside of trying to get a nice boost spike out of the stock turbo.
Worst part was that the boost controler was at that last limit of adjustment where you go from 26 psi to "bottomed out" controller! I think it was running damn near 30 psi when I was aiming for 26.... that's the way it goes though.

Hey guys! what makes men real men ? Well it about time that we can have an event where winners win and loosers win this is one of the most youthful sporting event today I like seeing this, where we can go and drag race and every body congradulates each other , that is being real men. To all the tuner who have achieved top ranking goals, 9 sec , 10sec times in 1/4 mile congrads; good luck with it and to those who will achieve turbo trix ; dynoflash ; AMS ; buschur racing ; and to all others that I didn't mention ! We as a unit need to stick together and make things like this happen more often . Turbo trix mitsubushi day thanks for a worderful time . Buschur DSM shoot out sorry didn't make it ; but will next year. And to the infamous dynoflash I will be their and I hope its a big big success . And then on to AMS get something started guys we well come every body suport these tunners and we will run the world .

Road racing on the short track
Dyno Competition
A points system of scoring and a prize for the overall champion Subaru vs. Evo
For now - we just have a great event planned with some serious nice prizes and sponsors
BTW - Dave Buschur - AMS and tommy a/k/a Ferraro kid will all be there along with Turbo Trix - my car and Rollaway - nine legs - Willie from the www.evo-ny.com crew and others
We are going to have a huge evo racing turn out - possibly the biggest ever in the US

Unfortunately the car ran like *** due to some last minute mod issues. We threw on an S-AFC, MBC and Buschur's filter the night before. I had a boost leak at the gauge which I didn't notice till later. I never paid attention to the MAS count as I had nothing to reference it with but when I fixed the leak I hit 23psi before backing out and or hitting fuel cut once. I'd been running on pump gas since the AFC showed good O2s... I didn't realize that the MAS count was ultra high causing extra fuel to be dumped in and I ran a best of 13.7 at 100.75... slower than it should have run stock. Not a very good showing, but I can't argue with $200 for showing up (only 2 cars ran in EVO - stock appearing) :-PI've got a test pipe on the car now with the O2 simulator and I'm able to hit 20+ psi around 2700-2800 RPM, otherwise the exhaust is all stock. Anyone know where I can find efficiency maps for this turbo? I wanna see how more boost will do

They shutdown the track for a little while after that one guy leaked oil all the way down the track. Al did get to run his car again for the finals. That's when he red lighted.
