According to Mitsubishi's website, it has not been added as an option. They generally list every new feature of new model year cars.

if cruise is a deciding factor for ya then the Evo isn't the right car for you for more reasons than just that.

Thats a typical statement! Not everyone that buys an EVO is a race car driver dude. I added cruise to mine because of all the traveling I do. 2 trips a year to Mass from S.Carolina plus many others. Cruise is a must.

Once again, it's his choice. Let me see the M3 has cruise, The STI has cruise, The Audi's have cruise..... dont mask the EVO's short comings, be truthful that its stupid for the EVO not to have cruise.

many evo owners have added aftermarket cruise controls to their evo, cost around $300 installed, not too expensive IMO. I believe emulous on this forum has done it.

I just drive to much from FLA to Vermont and NYC at least once or twice a year, Plus i have a heavy foot and cruise has kept me and my Se-r out of trouble with the law for over 6 years without a ticket. Sentinal, I love people who post things like that, makes me laugh as its so helpful.

Thanks to all u others. One other question, Can u get a Regular EVO in 05 minus the wing, i'd like to keep my record clean, cops love them wings.

GSR and MR both come with a wing from the factory, same as the STi. The RS does not. Again, you could always remove the wing after your purchase.

typical statement for someone who loves to biatch about things...
Your right almost all the luxury/sport sedans that compete with the Evo have cruise control... you would only expect audi BMW mercedes etc to have it...

Look at the history of the Evo it was designed for rally racing, and track events. Neither of these utilize cruise control. The Evo IS NOT and NEVER will be a luxury car. It rides very bumpy you can hardly go over a 1/2" rock and not get jared there are no heated seats there is no climate control system there is no remote control windows/ sunroof there are no power seats.... let me say it again.. ITS NOT A LUXURY CAR!

Also don't give me crap about if comuting or driving long distance beause my daily commute is 100 miles. I personally don't drag race my Evo at the track all the time or do autocross events. But I love the aggressive feel very stiff ride and awesome performance of the car. I bought it because thats what was important to me. I'm not sayin its for everyone at all. If luxury is important to you by all means get the 250z, S4 or the M3 even the STi has a few luxuries the Evo does. not.

Given how esaily the Evo runs to 100+ mph, I am constantly struggling to keep it withing stiking distance of the legal limit when on long trips. Also, it doesn't help to maintain a sane speed when the speedo is offset & fairly small. So, even tho I do many track days & auto-x's a year, I would love to have cruise.

And, if this sucker is so stripped-out, why does it have a power moonroof, keyless entry, power windows, power mirrors, rear washer-wiper, etc. Cruise would not be incompatible with all of that.

What you said makes no sense. YOu say that it's not a luxury car etc it's based on a rally car history etc..... but you dont use it for that purpose and neither do a great majority of it's buyers. I assume the rally cars have a third wiper, ac, power windows etc ???? NO! Does the Subaru not have the same heritage? It has cruise. You make no sense bro. Maybe it's all that damn BASS! LMFAO

Most of the time I am on the side that an Evo is the ultimate driving machine.... ..... and who cares about creature comforts crap, but I think the 05 needs cruise control. Yes, the car is for racing and auto-x, but how often do we all do that. I spend more time driving mine to work or on trips than I do other things. I have 30K miles on the car. Cruise control would be nice, and I think they have it in Japan. My girlfriend and I just used the car for an 8.5 hour trip (one way) and cruise control would have been nice. Actually a muffler would have been nice too. Also, with all the comments about the MR being a better handling Evo, that is also a nice car to live with, it needs cruise control.
My thoughts

whatever! but I think a frikin cruise control wont stop me from buying the car I
"REALLY" like. Hell if you really like and want the car and really need cruise, just get an aftermarket one. True it will be nice to have it but c'mon! not buying it for not having cruise? Sorry but its not for you.
