Yes, I bought it from Stoleman. But I think they probably inflated that figure. I only know of 3 RS's that came from there.
That's power at the wheels, but this dyno traditionally reads a little higher than the Mustang dynos. For a stock Evo, 220-250 bhp is the norm.

Why are you selling yours?

Anyone recently buy one? I told them that the 05's were coming in a few weeks, but he still wouldn't sell me the 04 RS! Just curious b/c the finance manage told me if anyone bought an 04 RS for anything lower than 26k that they were lying (of course i dont believe him) but i wanna get the best deal i can, thanks... Sorry for the semi hijack, but if i do get this car, i will be posting here too.
PM's would be best.

Since the 05s are coming out, the dealer is probably getting some extra money from the manufacturer for the 04s that are lying around the lot. That's just a guess. You may want to go to www.mitsubishicars.com and click the "Find a dealer" link. You can then search dealers by state and see if any other dealers have the RS in stock. That's how I found mine. It was a good 4-5 hours away, but it was well worth it, especially since my airplane ticket only cost me $49.

Good luck bro.

If you want to travel, I know of a dealer in Baltimore that has two 04 RS', one in red and one in white. At last check, they were at $200 under invoice. That's about $25,500.

I got a good deal, and never went back. They messed up my paperwork and I was still cleaning up their crap a month afterwards.Looking back knowing what I know now, I would never buy from there again. Their service is terrible.
I believe the only reason I got treated better than most people who went there was because the first words out of my mouth were: "I would like to put a deposit down on an Evo."
I am selling because I'm leaving the country. I'm very sad to let it go. I'm trying to find a way to bring the car with me if I could.
I have a red RS. I love it. So far, I have a Kenwood MP3 player with Alpine speakers, Buschur Racing air intake, Buschur Racing MBC (not yet installed), VDO Boost Guage (not yet installed), HKS Type-1 Turbo Timer (not yet installed), and Perrin Antenna. I'm out of a job right now so I won't be able to mod for a month or so. However, I'm planning on getting a 15% tint on the windows, HELIX 3-inch downpipe and test pipe, Dynoflash/SAFC/UTEC/XEDE/EMS (whatever comes along that I can afford), Kartboy short shifter, and AMS Cat-back once I get more cash flow. I can't wait to crap on some vettes.
