Out of curiosity, why buy an RS and put all the mods back into the interior? Black door handles and mirrors cant be that cool...it's probably cheaper to just buy the diff and put it into a regular evo.

2004 RR RS here in Milwaukee. The car is a blast. I got mine for $300 over invoice, at the time it wasn't bad. 4,400 miles on it now with no problems. I haven't seen any other RS'es in the area. If anyone is in the region (SE Wisconsin/ Chicago) PM me.

Sony HU
Pioneer 6-3/4" all the way around
Valentine 1
S2000 Antenna

Have some goodies on the way.

Finally got around to removing my front strut bar. It weighed in at 7lbs on a bathroom scale. Add another pound for the nuts and bolts.

did you do the conversion to the rear doors also? If so, where did you plug the rear harness into?

FYI,
Stock strut bar weighs 8 lbs. or so. Go stand on your bathroom scale and then pick it up, you will see. Don't bother replacing the stock with one that has hinges unless it is for bling factor, it will flex at the hinge points and not be as stiff, and most of them weigh nearly 6-7lbs.

Yes you have chop ur head off. I bought a Mitsu door locakactuator for 185 dollars. Other mitsudealer wanted 210. then you have to buy wiring harness which cost alot too. Think about window regulators and switches...etc X 4 doors. and it is pain to install them without their wiring harness(that black gorilla snot is nasty). After I finished my driver side door without wiring harness, I decided not to do this anymore.

Just got an '04 Evo with like 10 miles on it - dealer was unable to sell it so I got a really nice deal on it, and it's basically brand new... Very happy w/ the car so far Purchased the car in Redmond, OR, and drove it back to my place near Portland, OR.

Crappy pinik dealer plate (removed soon after leaving the dealer!)

Got some good stock numbers on Perfection Motorsport's dynpack dyno after breaking it in!! Nice to know where it is stock for a baseline before modifications begin!
