Lightbulb HKS TT Type 1 problems

I installed my TT last night and noticed that all the functions work except the actuall turbo timer. It will not keep the car running after i turn the key off. i have tried it in manual mode and automatic mode, it displays how long it will run for, but wont stay running. I did notice in the install that the only wire going to the parking was blue instead of grey (according to vanilla sky write up) so i tapped into that one, I thought maybe since my car was a 2004 and the write up was on a 2003, maybe they changed the colors on the parking brake wire.

anybody have any ideas. i would greatly appreciate it.

Lance

Yeah, I always pull the parking break up. I am going to recheck the wire connection going to the parking break again.

Yeah, I had the same problem initially too. Make sure you have a good connection wired to the parking brake. That has to be the problem or you have a defective unit.

It was the wire going to the parking brake, wasnt making a good connection with the little red splicers that HKS sent with the unit.

Just a note** The parking brake wire is blue in the 2004 EVO VIII** all instructions told me that it was the gray one, they probably changed them from 2003 to 2004.

yeah its the blue wire. Had an 04 didn't find the gray one at all. I notice that the blue one was connected to the e-brake.
