When I installed and uninstalled the dump pipe from my old Buschur FMIC I just used a regular Craftsman 3/8" socket, a wobble and extensions and had no trouble with those bolts. I'm surprised that you and the professional shops had so much trouble.

I just did this last night! Those bolts were the biggest pain in the buns-hole. It took us a lot of tries (with the elbow joint) and finally got it. The part that REALLY sucked is we finally got in back on, and realized that we left the gasket off So we had to take it back apart and do it again. In the end, it was a pretty tough install (I'll post pics soon), but then again this is really the first thing I've done by myself on the car, so account for that.

Here's a pic of the worst bolt. The piping on either side make the opening just barely to small

Note: I'm sure this would have been MUCH easier had I taken off the front bumper and stuff!

Yup. I had my front bumper off and everything too (but that's cause my IC came with the lower IC piping... ).

That bolt was a PITA! And to imagine, the aftermarket pipe I put back on there was thicker than the stock pipe.. even less clearance than before! Cross threading that bolt was the most costly mistake I have made yet while working on this car.

With the AMS lower pipe you don't need to remove the dump tube from the turbo.
The replacement pipes go from that pipe to the IC.

If someone is really having a tough time reaching those bolts, you can always drop the starter to open up access, but it really shouldn't be necessary.

Sorry, I was an idiot and forgot my camera the day I did the install. Pictures aren't really needed as any monkey with a wrench should be able to do this job.
