Did anyone happen to notice IF it was very hard to spin one front wheel after installing this unit ? I was tuning one front wheel with the car off the air and it had a lot of resisitance and did not feel "right" I did not have a quaife before so I dont know if this is normal or not ? Thanks

Thanks for this great write-up. I used it successfully yesterday. I'm slow and careful so it took me 12 hours, not including deadtime. I did have to "persuade" the CV axle/inner axle combination back in with a few taps with a hammer.
Particular good tip was the info on creating the small slide hammer. My local dealer didn't even have the factory required slide hammer in their shop tool inventory. Marksae's home built model worked like a charm and the inner axles were easily removed.

my mechanic try to push it in instead of taking out....
they hammer it down on that shaft hard for several minutes...stupid mechanic ... you think my shaft, gear all that **** is o.k?
mine drives o.k without any weird sound or anything..
it happend to me when they change my clutch.

Changing the diff will not affect the end play of the diff carrier inside the transfer case.

I'm scared to really test this thing on public roads, so I plan to bring my car to the next auto-x to really test it.
Question:
What class are you running in in AutoX that will allow you to run the front Diff?
