Sparco harness bar

Here is the link directly to their website. http://www.sparcousa.com/resourceFiles/48.pdf

I have their pdf mirrored on my website in case the sparco link is unavailable. I've added some extra install tips as well.

Could u remove the factory seat belts and only use the sparco harness bar (and harnesses of corse) or do u need the factory seat belts for the harness bar to be attached correctly?

Well, the kit uses the belt as a spacer. You could remove the belts and put in a spacer I suppose. You just don't want those longer bolts hitting the b pillar

Install question: in the sparco instructions, the picture showing the top (b-pillar mount) shows a thick spacer between the car and the harness bar. My bar was delivered with 4 thinner spacers instead of 2 thick ones? Should I use the 2 spacers per side? thanks

I'm thinking about the Sparco harness bar. Can anybody tell me if you retain full function of the front seats? Like, could I still slide the front seats all of the way back? Reclining is not something that I'm too worried about. Any difference with a different manufactruers?

You can definitely slide your seat back almost exactly the way you would regularly. Obviously you wouldn't be able to tilt it back with the seat slide all the way back. So to answer your question, yes you pretty much have full function of the front seats.

As far as difference, not sure but they should all be VERY similar.

Thanks Nasty...This was a huge holdback for me purchasing the harness bar. I think that having harnesses would make me a faster driver.
