Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
there are a few things I would add to that install.....such as when you unscrew the black cover, disconnect the harness from the fuel pump, and try to crank the car before undoing any fuel lines........also, on # 8. I would like to emphasize what he is saying about not pulling too hard. I pulled too hard, and the wires came out of the harness, so i put them back to what I thought was correct, reinstalled the pump, tried to start the car, and it wouldnt start. so, I had to remove the pump again, and swap the wires.......it was a very big pain in the *** for no reason
sorry to hate on your how to but i found this to have more info.

yeh, that ones good.. but it's easier once you jump on the fuel install first.
Hardest part is, of course getting the metal seal in, which isn't hard as people make it out to be.
it's a simple math.

Type of oil used to set the pump / gasket
The link refers to using a light oil when setting the fuel pump back into the gasket. What type of light oil are people using? Is there a TSB from Mitsu stating what to use? Thanks -- great link btw
The first time I bought the Walbro pump, nothing came with! Only the pump itself. This is my second Walbro pump and it cames as a kit.
I didn't use the rubber isolator that came with the kit... I used the stock one... is it bad?
