Does the hood have a hook for the stock latch? Does the hood already have holes for the hood pins?

I need to do that too! My hood is fiberglass though! Washer nozzles as well!

The Seibon I have has a latch to hook up w/ stock latch, but has been recommended by serveral different ppl to get pins. No it does not come with the the pins holes pre-drilled.

If it has a hook for the stock latch, that should be fine. I had a Seibon hood and just used the stock latch for months and it never gave me any problems. I would say to drive around with it like that first, before you go drilling into the hood making holes that can't be fixed

Be aware this things can be a pain in the a$$. On June 11th at SIR (Tucson) I was behind a stupid chick in a Trans Am wich almost caught on fire.

Basicly she had a bad tuned carburator and one of the times that she tried to start the car there was a backfire. The flame started with a tiny 3-4" tall flame, she did not realized that she had flames and she attempted to crank the engine again, the fiberglass bumpy hood started to get on fire.

These pins proven to be a nightmare, one was stock, basicly you had to have someone pushing hard on the hood and someone else pulling the pin out.
Thanks god that she had a tiny podwer 1LB extingisher, after all she was mad at everyone because according to her the fire was controlled and she knew that the carburator backfires, her complaint was about we left a mess on the hood and engine bay.

Botton line make sure the pins are easily accesible and easily removable.
