the original link on the how-to sticky section isn't working... neither is the link to the discussion thread. can someone come up with a how-to on this?

ah, i just checked it out. would any of you experienced do-it-yourselfers recommend this or is it better to just pay someone to do it? i am fairly experienced with hand tools and have installed my own headstuds without a problem

special tool is around 10 to 40 buck depends on where you get it.
Your friendly Mac tools dealer can get it for you. Or order direct.
If you call your dealership they can tell you where to get the tool from.
You wont need any gaskets, unless you rip the one you take off.
Install time is about 2.5 to 3 hours. Including the time you talk to your friends while doing install and answering Cell phone calls.
if you still need how to write up, I can pm to you.

Which cams? The gears or the shafts? It is not a hard job, I used the EvoMoto instructions and everything worked out great. Just make sure you have some good wrenches and specialty tools in hand. Also power tools always make the job that much easier.
