I can't really tell the diff. Reception seem fine for me.

 

Thanks for the idea man. I did it on my RA antenna. Looks sweet and I haven't noticed any reception changes to the channels I listen to AM/FM.

And i listen to the cd's i make most of the time anyways.

Perrin antenna's suck. I just bought a s2k antenna from the Honda dealership for $12.

 

LoL i was thinking of cutting mine too... but i was scared it might turn out weird but this helps ill do it anyway nyahahah! GOOD JOB!!!

 

figured I wasnt going to use the stock antenna regardless what I did so I cut it to the base, sand it down on my driveway and used a black sharpie ! recpetion suffers a little bit but so far the look outwieghs it. the cost of the s2k/perrin antennea isn't a factor, the shorter the better imo
