how do i change or fix the light where you put the key to start the car in the ignition?? do i check a fuse or change a bulb?? thanks in advance!

 

Bump for an old thread. Anyone know how to replace the bulb?

 

Take out the three screws in the bottom, pop apart the trim and the bulb is on top of the ignition switch, look for the wire going into the bulb holder (like the one for the cigarette lighter) and unscrew it, pop out and replace with one of the bulbs like for the cigarette lighter. Its a pita to get to and get back in.

Uses #74 bulb. I replaced all mine with red led's from superbrightleds.com
