Getting vacuum line for boost gauge to driver side

hey guys, ive read all the posts on how to install the boost gauge, but the one thing im not clear on is how you get the vacuum line from the grommet behind the glovebox to the driver's side, and ultimately the steering column. do you go behind the radio? i cant figure it out! thanks

Try getting an extention if the vacuum line is too short. Thats what i did with mine. Not sure if thats what your question is? What I did was just passed it behind the radio and at the steering just pull out as much of the line as I could and nothing was left hanging

There is a rubber plug on the engine firewall behind the front right shock tower.
You need to poke that rubber plug with a long screw driver or a long stick
Go to the inside of the car, open the glove compartment.
Look inside the glove compartment and you will find a scare plastic piece on the left

Remove the square plastic piece. now force the glove compartment door a bit to the left, enough so that you clear the right stopper.

Now the glove box door should swing down all the way, just pull it.

Now with a flashlight, look thorugh the glove compartment and you should see some light coming from the hole of the firewall(behind the from shock tower)

From this point just reroute you rubber hoses.

i know where the hole in the glovebox is, i can find that, and have routed the vacuum line from the engine bay into the car. my question is, from the hold in the firewall, how do you get it to the steering column. do you pass it through a gap from the glovebox and behind the center console with the radio to the driver sideand then to the steering column?

I routed mine right under that little cubby hole under the stereo. You can't see it, and it was an easy job. Some day when i decide to mount my gauge on the dash, i'll have it coming up from the defrost vents like a few of my buddies. Looks clean.
