DIY Mini Battery kit. Looks like the pros.

Sorry, I originally posted this in the wrong forum, so I moved it here.
I mocked up a design I had in mind for making my own mini battery tray and mounts. It costed me about $35.00. I made it all out of Stainless Steel. I went to the sheet metal place and they gave me a bunch of sheet metal for about $10.00 then I had everything bent up for about $25.00.
I even have a template of it in photoshop. I might even be able to pass it along to people if they really want it, PM me. All you have to do is trace, cut it out and have someone bend it for you unless you have access to a sheet metal bender? Anyways here are some pictures. If I was to do it all over or to see it, I would design it a little different, but let me know what you think.

Enjoy. Save yourself over $150 by doing it yourself if you can.

Nice work - yeah those kits are pretty spend for a simple tray - I'll be making one of these also or a relocation kit possibly.

For some reason I could not post the attachment here. It maybe too large or something? NOt sure, but feel free to sticky it.

You can down load the template here:
http://www.turboevo8.com/minibattery/

This is made for an Odysessy 680 or simular. You can easily adjust it for any simular battery.

Let me know if you have any questions or if you build it. I'd like to see an image of it.

Looks good, I'll shoot you a PM on the templet cause i was about to make mine own also. Would be a lot easier if i already had a templet, plus i like how you folded the base of the tray.

I was going to run a different battery though. It looks like it should work though.

You can download the template from my website in the signature below. Which battery are you going to use?
