Aftermarket boost gauge install on MR

I am going to install the Gruppe S 3 gauge panel with Defi gauges to replace my stock gauge pack on the MR. Where is the best location to tap in the vaccum line in the engine compartment?

thanks

I have the defi boost gauge - instructions are to keep the vacuum line to the defi sending unit as short as possible...

Also anyone with the Gruppe s 3 gauge panel - how do you keep your gauges from moving around?

thanks
