HKS SSQV blow-off valve install documented!
EVOLa VIRUS - I have the turbosmart dual port bov that does 50/50 vta and recirc...works good, holds boost + is loud when shifting under boost. I've never heard of a vta bov on the evo yet in person so i cant say if its just as loud or not.
netmand - with the recirc feature, is there still stuttering and bogging down issues? I have heard some say that even with the recirc kit, the HKS BOV doesnt work well. I did mutliple searches on this site to collect that info. Also, did you adjust the BOV screw at all on your setup?

So I have no stuttering or bogging issues at all.
I saw at some point that someone on here got word from HKS *not* to make any adjustments to the SSQV. That makes as much sense as Mitsubishi recommending not to modify our Evos. While the default settings may work, tuning every part of the car is going to yield better performance if you take the time to do it right.

(3 months for this reply, what a slacker! soz didn't see it til today)
I bought Buschur upper IC piping after putting this in... they welded the stock hose connect on it for me and it works just fine... so if aftermarket piping has the same connect as stock then it will work. Otherwise you'll have to buy the universal with the weld-on flange and have it put on your aftermarket piping.
