GT35 turbo ...intake..MAF... help/ questions

Questions:

here's where Im at...

I cant use AEM
and with MAFTPRO...
No one out here knows how to properly install MAFTPRO
so I plan to just get my ECU flashed

Im trying to use the stock MAF with the GT35 kit and need a custom intake... or do I?

So far I have the coupler 4" reduced to 3" off the turbo....

I have the 3" coupler to connect the intake pipe to the MAF

I need whats in between ... the intake pipe

I need to get one custom made... but I need to let the fabricating shop know what needs to be on there

i.e. valve cover vent tube, air nipple, and Im guessing I dont need the BOV return since Im running the TIAL

would I need something made like this http://evo.dejonpowerhouse.com/

or a pipe that just connect to the MAF

or something like this ...with the bov hole plugged?

Any sugestions
Any input
Any help will be greatly appreciated

thanks

Call Dejontool for a 4" Intake pipe kit and filter, I used the DSM one and it fit perfectly..

When you call them, just say you need the same one they made for me.

If you plan on retaining the MAF, then you need to use the 3" reducer for the MAF..

If your using a MAF you do need to recirculate, so you may have problems using the TIAL.. The other option is to get the 3" intake pipe from Buschur and use a 3" to 4" coupler..

OOoohhh.. you have a top-mount turbo, I completely forgot about that..

You really just need the coupler and a section of pipe.. It should be really straightforward actually..

My friend installed a MAF pro last year and it didn't take him long at all, talk to Scott from TTP he can answer any questions you have about the MAFTPRO.

And like Jack said Dejontool is the company to call for misc. intake parts and pipes

MAFTPro is not that hard. There is detail oriented instructions included with the purchase INCLUDING ECU pinouts, wire colors and directions.

I had forgotten to mention that I'm not using a stock MAF, but you can use it with the coupler..

But since I didn't order it with a recirculation fitting or any of the air fittings for the breather and whatnot, I just ordered a 2G Dsm pipe, and flipped it around (so the dejontool sticker was upside-down)

He builds this stuff to order.. so you just have to explain to him that you have an Evo, but you need a 4" intake, and to build it as a 2G DSM intake, but then to put the recirculation fittings on as if it were for an EVO instead.. He's very accomodating.. Then all you'd need is a 4" to 4" coupler for your GT35r, and a 3" to 4" coupler for your MAF.. you may have a tight fit for your air filter if you retain your MAF, so let him know it needs to be about 2-3" shorter because of what you plan on doing.
