How to modify your stock "lancer" gauge to accept useful gauges
anyone? im wondering what other people have used? i have seen a few new threads where people ran boost gauges and other widebands so whats up? what boost gauges are you guys running? any pictures are great. and what wideband works good in this?
I'm doing it with an AEM uego gauge. I've been working really slowly on it for 1.5 years though....its just not top priority most of the time. Heres an interm pic:

I got rid of the useless "Lancer" writing and preserved the seatbelt and door-open lights that most people eliminate with this mod. Should look rather clean with tinted film, etc. to clean it up.

I'm not sure if anyone else is doing it too but I've been stalled on my gauge for a few months now. Some of the solders on the circuit board came loose and I've been lazy getting the supplies I need to fix it. I'll get back to work on it soon though.
vmreveo9, can you post up another pic of the entire cluster at night... I want to see how bright the LC1 is compared to the stock cluster without a tinted cover over it like you have it in the above picture. Also, as an aside, if you were to tint over the LC1... what percent tint do you think would be needed to make it match the stock luminosity?

Not to bring this back from the dead but I see there are a bunch of questions regarding this mod.
I sold my car a long time ago but here's from memory:
I owned an AEM Wideband and I highly doubt this will fit. You can attempt to disassemble the AEM gauge if you want but the wideband is extremely deep.
You will want to run a remote display into that gauge area, not a full gauge pod.
Good luck all.

Hey guys sorry to bring this back up but what wideband is that the Innovate LC1? is this a good gauge? i keep checking prices and see that its much cheaper than an AEM gauge. Just want to make sure these are good accurate gauges.
