HKS Turbo Timer Type-0 installed but..

It's not working.

I installed with the HKS harness but, right after I take out my key, the timer shuts

off right away together. I don't know what is wrong.

Please help me out~

My first guess would be it's not grounded. Double-check that and secure all your connections and retry it.

I just installed mine on saturday. I had the same problem. Check to see that its properly grounded. Also make sure the wire from the turbo timer to emergency brake is connected properly.

Same thing happened to me. Did you hook up the ebrake wire yet. When I did mine I wired everything then tested it real quick with the ebrake wire plugged in but not spliced to the ebrake wiring and it did not work. I eventually just spliced it for the hell of it and put it all back together and it worked. The timer was reading no signal from the ebrake wire so it would just turn off.

This is kinda off topic, but is it really necessary to splice that other wire into the ECU?

No. The timer picks up fluctuations in the revs from other sources and adjusts the timer accordingly.

I'me not that good in electronics.what are the things i need to install it? if i'me going to install a aftermarket alarm would it work with the alarm?

It's plug n play if you buy the harness with it. fairly simple to install.
