There really isnt a thing called smooth when it comes to pullin the trans/ t-case

Get the evomoto guide for the clutch install. That helps a bunch.

EVEHO9: not paying someone to do something i know i can do, not the first motor i have pulled. got to where i could swap drivetrains in a honda by myself in less than a half a day. just haven't pulled the evo motor (till now) so didn't know if there were any helpfull tricks etc

i will pull the evomoto guide for a clutch swap, that will probably be the most helpful

Yes, follow the same procedure. Out comes the propeller shaft, then the tranny, then the transfer case.

right, then the motor can come out through the top. you do have to pull the tranny before the transfer case unless you drop the crossmember/steering rack. PS-getting the 6-speed out is a PITA compared to a 5-speed, good luck.
