How-to Perrin 25mm rear swaybar & stout mounts
I searched and could not find a how-to on installing the Perrin 25mm swaybar / sway bar so I decided to help others out with one of my own.
How-to install Perrin 25mm swaybar & stout mounts.
1. Remove the nuts holding the stock rear swaybar to the endlinks.
2. Remove the passenger-side rear wheel and then wiggle the top rubber muffler mount off of the hangar as seen below.
3. Remove the bolt holding the muffler up at the rear rubber muffler mount as seen below.
4. Now remove the 2 bolts holding the 3rd rubber muffler mount to the chassis as seen below. This will allow you to lower the exhaust system low enough for the stock bar to be removed.
5. Now remove the 4 bolts keeping the OEM stock bar connected to the car's frame and then wiggle the bar out starting with the muffler side.
6. Once the OEM bar is out, installation is simply reverse of above. Do not forget to lube the rubber bushing that came with the Perrin bar.

the holes one the ends of the bars are to increase or decrease the tension inflicted on the bar. furthest out is the softest setting and furthest in is the stiffest.

Thanks for that information. It would've been nice if Perrin put that in the directions.

That looks so much better than the Hotchkis Mount... Perhaps I'm off, but it looks like it is more rigid. I had the Hotchkis on my VIII and did like it a lot on the stiffest setting. anyone else have thoughts on this?

Thanka for this info....I am trying to decide on which rear bar to get - I really like the Perrin setup vs. the Cusco........this was a very helpful post
