Nice writeup. Went smooth as buttah!

With the exception of those damn splice dealies that HKS shipped with. They don't work so well with gargantuan fingers Nothing sixty-nine cents at home depot couldn't fix.

yes... and make sure you get a good ground.. but if you actually read the first post.. or one of the many others.. you would know this.. and its in the instructions that came with the TT

I went through this install recently. Very nice and very easy. Although I will say this... I completely destroyed those damn red wire taps that came with mine. They're annoying. I'm a ballzy person though so I took my pocket knife to the ecu wires and with very graceful slices and some electric tape, tapped all the wires perfectly... the old school way

as for pictures, I'm not sure why the ones on here aren't working. I used them when I installed mine not more than 3 weeks ago. Try looking for the original post in the install/howto section. When they link off to a discussion thread, usually the pictures don't come with it.

Whoa is this thread old! Finally got my turbo timer and installed it today! Everything works perfect right out of the box thanks to this write up! Took me 4 hours, but it was worth it! Man, what the hell would i have done without this thread? The instructions were barely "ok" and the ecu wiring diagram HKS supplies SUCKs.... haha.. well for me that is...
