Ultimate Racing Fuel gauge adaptor

Hey guys, I was installing my Defi BF fuel pressure gauge yesterday with the Ultimate Racing adaptor. Its' the one that bolts right up to the stock fuel rail. Well it leaks!!! It leaks in the pre-drill/threaded sensor tap, even with teflon tape. I paid nearly 80$ for the adaptor and it doesn't want to stop leaking!!!

Does anyone have any suggestions, or is there a better sensor adaptor that will not leak?

Thanks

no, it actually theaded in very easy. the leak was very small but that was just a idle.
Is there some other type of thread sealant that will work better than the teflon tape?

you cross-threaded it....the adapter is for 1/8" NPT and your sensor is 1/8" PT

Dont use teflon tape. Use the teflon sealent that comes in the tube you can get from autoparts stores. Clean the threads thouroughly to remove all traces of gasoline. Apply a small amount of sealent and thread the sensor into the adaptor handtight then tighten 1/8-1/4 turn with a wrench. Let the sealent dry overnight and then it will be ready for use. If it still leaks you definitely cross threaded it.
