Is it safe for me to install the side motor mount with just a jack under the Oil pan of my car? Please give me as much info to do this safely

Thanks if advance

Searching with no answers. Bump for some help?

The front mount didn't need any support, does the cam side?

from what i've read, yes its simple as supporting the motor alittle with the jack and wooden block by the oil pan as the motor will drop slightly once you remove the bolt from the side mount. unfortunately there isnt a truely detailed DIY about it like the front mount for some reason.

that being said Beebo05 you realize you bumped a thread from 2009???
