Profec E-01 install help.
For Greddy Profec E-01
Does anyone know where to connect the 4 independent wires that go on the ECU.
There is red wire(power), brown wire(rpm sensor), green wire(ground), and yellow wire(optional).
Can anyone tell me where these wires go on the ECU? Also, what is the optional wire for? I don't want to mess up the computer by connecting the wrong wires. Please help.
Thanks

the optional wire is not used unless you want to run a warning indicator (i have no clue how to do this on the evo) anyway the other 3 are just power, ground and rpm. I will find the ecu diagram and let you know where they go in a sec, i'm currently at work
I'd recommend an ecu extention harness for the install of this and any other electronic that needs spliced into the ecu.

Power is pin 25
Ground is pin 26
RPM is pin 58
What you could also do is wire your power and ground into another place on the car. Such as the radio. I just did it into my ecu extention harness because I was installing the emanage at the same time.
Hope this helps
