convert evo ix to mr headlights

Hi my cousin wants to do a HID conversion on his car...He currently has a evo ix base with no hid lights....He bought evo ix mr lights that are hid and they came with all the harnesses and switches such as the light level adjustment and fog light switch....I was wondering how i could put them in his car and make everything work.

Search man, it's been covered numerous times.

I've done a successful swap, but you will run into a few snags.

I am assuming his is a 2006 since it is IV. Mine is a 2005. But I am swapping 2005 for 2005 HID (bulbs, ballasts, and housings)

ahh gotcha. yep, I read your thingy. Thinking about trying it...but someone just told me that since I got the housing, ballast, and bulbs as a single unit each, it should be a direct plug in?

Don't take anybody's word on that. Make sure you try it out first, unless the person who's telling you this has actually done it themselves.
