Was wondering if you all have any tips on the best way to install the engine back into the car. I took it out through the bottom. Any tips about how to make the transfer case fit in there easier??? I remember that sucked getting out. I plan on going through the bottom again with the transmission already attached to the block. I'm just thinking it might be hard to fit the transfer case in there after the engine is in the car. So should I not fasten any motor mounts and just have the engine hanging there and put the transfer case in place before I lower the engine and put it on it's motor mounts??? what ways have ya'll done it??? Also is it easier to put the intake manifold on it after the engine is already in the car or is it best to do it before??? And abou the rear motor mount. most of you know its horrible to get to.

shouldn't the engine be removed through the top using a cherry picker thingy..

 

Either way works.


TCase will probably need to be put on without the engine.

Attach tranny to motor and drop the motor in, then slide the tcase onto the propellor shaft and then to the tranny.
