i ordered a cusco catch can form rally sport and they told me it woul fit my evo 9 mr. the instructions came in japanese and included crappy pictures. where the hell does the mounting bracket go? also, it only connects to one nipple on the can according to the pictures with no return. will that affect anything? please help if you have the cusco installed already. thanks.

 

I put one on my evo 9 mr. But not where the "pictures" tell you to. I'll try to take pictures tommorrow and post them for you. If your standing in front of the cat looking at the engine bay, I mounted mine on the left under the strut bar and to the left of the intake manifold. It's probably the only space under there to mount it. There is an exsisting bolt there to mount it to. But it sits on kind of an angle. I went to lowes and bought extra hose-looks the same, nylon lined clear hose. It was frustrating, but once I figured out where to put it, It was easy. one hose goes from the right of yhe valve cover nipple to the can, then from the can to the intake tube. Oh, and take the strut bar off- its eaiser that way. And if you have the same factory one I do, Those strut bar nuts are ON THERE. Pretty hard to torqe off. make sure you put them on just as tight. Can mounts with the nozzles pointed down, and has to be on a slight angle on account of the supplied bracket. mine works great, and looks cool to. hope this helps, ill try to post pics later.
